Sarah Spirals (Sarah Marie Rose Healy) has over a decade of experience in theatre, circus, performance and production.

As a youth, training in Skadada Youth Runaway Circus (SYRC) lay the foundations for a longtime passion for movement and creativity.

Her performance career started in aerial dance and contortion, with various companies and as part of Fringe Festival shows in Perth.

She studied a Bachelor of Performance Studies and Creative Writing at Curtin University, which she completed at Tulane University in New Orleans. There she grew in her love of live performance and toured educational Shakespeare show to schools throughout the Big Easy.

Travels took Sarah to the pulse of cirque culture in Montreal, Canada, where she co-formed a Circus and Fire Performance troupe, touring festivals performing, training and teaching workshops in the flow arts and object manipulation.

In 2016 she dove into the art of clowning, and trained with John Turner in the Pochinko clowning technique at the Mantoulin Conservatory for Creation and Performance.  'Clown through mask' opened new doorways to expression and a period of mask work.

In 2018 she toured Europe, spending summer in the Netherlands presenting an interactive children's shows at the infamous theatre festival ‘De Parade’.

She continues to entertain; teaching, performing, collaborating and learning in her sunny hometown Fremantle, WA.
